Really nice sofa!

We had this sofa in our previous apartment but threw it out when we moved. A mistake. So we got this one. very nice!!! Converts and has plenty of room...

Extremely Functional, mostly comfortable

I want to start by saying that this couch does exactly what it says it would do: It's a couch that turns into a bed and has built-in storage. This is why I bought it.
The problem is that it's not especially comfortable. It feels like a spring mattress from the 50's; it's passable, but nothing to write home about. If you sit on it too hard in certain places (jumping usually required), you can feel the wooden(?) supports. A lot can be done to make this more comfortable but as it is, I cannot in good faith recommend this to anyone else without these caveats.
On a hopefully unrelated note, when this couch arrived, one of the metal bars inside it that allows it to convert and fold was bent in such a way that it was caught on a bolt and couldn't move. I had it fixed, and it works now, but it's possible that the experience may have affected this review.
